FS#102 - Allow bulk update on selection
It would be nice if the bulk update could be invoked from the album/folder views. So you can select photos and then click on a bulk update button to update the parameters of the selected photos.

This is on my personal TODO, but for some reason I don't think it ended up in the bug tracker.
(As an aside, we should be able to display arbitrary lists of photos too..)
It's worth mentioning that the -devel code allows you to run bulk updates against the spool, and add arbitrary photos to the spool. It's not the direct "bulk update this selection" feature you requested, though.
Allowing a user to arbitrarily bulk update photos has some internal security implications that I haven't finished working through yet.
I have my first-pass at "bulk update from selection" implemented in -devel now.
Once I test it out a bit (and draw the necessary button) I'll commit it. It's dependent on the new selection/checkbox code, so it won't backport that easily.
