FS#525 - Output on CP-D70 is way too dark
This suggests we need to apply a correction curve to the raw 16-bit data sent to the printer.
Uncertain if user was using the ICC profile.
Unfortunately it'll probably take some careful analysis of printing calibration targets to come up with an appropriate correction factor.

A couple of things -- one, the printer is actually a YMC model rather then BGR.
Second, though the data is 16-bit, it appears to be non-linear, thus "too dark" output.
Things are worse -- the printer uses inconsistent, non-linear mappings -- printing a solid color on the page shows a gradient of image intensities when it's sent to the printer.
Much investigation is needed to sort this one out.
Turns out the Windows drivers includes a set of tabular data files that appear to control things, one for each print mode (ie Fine vs Superfine vs Ultrafine)
Of course, interpreting these tables is another matter. There are 18 columns...
