FS#465 - CSS flaw??

Hi Solomon

I put a screenshot. Did you ever notice that? Have it in Firefox and Chromium Browser. Didn't check others. Guess, there has to be a CSS setting to be adjusted.

I can honestly say I haven't seen this myself, but what I suspect is going on that you specified a larger thumbnail size than the CSS allows for. By default it is 170px, and the "slide" is sized to be 200px across, with 15px margin+padding on all sides.

You're right, this is what I did way ago in config_site.php

$po_options['preview_max_size'] = 1000;
$po_options['thumb_max_size'] = 200;

Have another solution than rerendering 10257 thumbnails down to 170px?

it's possible to have the CSS settings being somewhat dynamic, respecting thumb_max_size? (I'm not that deep in that kind of stuff)

The most expedient solution is to edit the CSS to increase the dimensions of the thumbnail/slide by 30 pixels (ie instead of 200x200, 230x230).

under $theme/screen.css, find the entry for 'div.photo_slide_out' and change the 'height' and 'width' fields to be 230 instead of 200.

It may be possible to fix this using pure CSS, but unfortunately

I think to fix this right we're going to have to move to a dynamic CSS setup (ie generated by php code), which actually makes a lot of sense.

ok, I choose the 'quick' solution :) thank you

I'm sure, we get rid of such problems with version 4.x when you finished a jQuery-powered UI ;)
