FS#184 - Format (film size) editing

There is no easy way to add/edit the list of film format sizes appart from editing the database (or using a tool like phpPgAdmin). It would be nice and IMO simple to implement a way to add/edit a Film size option.

Hmm. I find it hard to justify adding a UI for film formats.. at least at this point. I have plans to extend the profile stuff to make it considerably more robust, but that's a little ways off.

In the mean time, I'd rather just add all all missing formats into the distribution as that solves the immediate problem.

I solved the problem this way myself (phpPgAdmin), but thought it would be useful for others too... Not a PITA for me, would only look good...

I just added 110-C, 120-C, and fixed the definition of 35mm film to be more explicit.

I also added 6x8, 6x9, 6x12, 6x17, and 6x24 formats.

What formats did you have to add to the system?

Too early in the morning...

I don't remember which were included originally and which I added, but I think that the european metric sheets should be added (9x12cm, 13x18cm, 18x24cm), there is also a 5x7" sheet film size missing... (you'd be surprised how many sheet film sizes there are, but until someone else asks for them, I don't see the point in adding them all, since those who are using them are probably not digitizing the negatives because of the size: 4x10", 5x12", 11x14", 7x17", 8x20", 12x20", 16x20", 14x17", 24x30cm...)

Oh, I know theere are an obscene number of formats. :) Even the wikipedia list is incomplete.

I just added 6.5x9, 9x12, 1-x15, 13x18, 18x24, and 24x30 metric, and 5x7" and 11x14"
